Rush "Headlong Flight" now streaming over at Rollingstone.com

The first single from Rush's soon to be released (June 12th, 2012) "Clockwork Angels" album is titled "Headlong Flight" and is streaming over at:

I'm a huge Rush fan (damn near fanatic and definitely biased when it comes to their music - I'll pretty much buy anything they release) so I can't wait for June to come round.

I'm liking what I'm hearing so far with the combination of this song with the previously release of "BU2B" and "Caravan", both of which I'm understanding have been re-recorded with some changes for the full album release.

any other Rush fans around these parts?

    Huge Rush fan here.  Thanks for posting this. I can't wait to listen to this again at home kranked. Great song.  Neil and Alex sound dynamite. Geddy's on fire and if this is  a taste of what's to come we are in for a big treat.

    Big Rush fan here, too. I'm a little older than the statistical mean for Rush fans in general, and ignored them for decades. But today I have the enthusiasm of a recent convert, having only embraced Rush in the past year or so. Turns out, their best stuff is the material that never gets airplay! Who knew? I certainly didn't.

    The new tune, though essentially classic Rush, seems overly bright and compressed. I hope that's an artifact of the player and not how the album really sounds. 


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
