S8 Record meter settings

SONAR 8 does not seem to save its record meter settings correctly. If I enable “hold peaks” and “lock peaks” from the record meter settings on the meters button in the tool bar, the record meters then show the little lines to indicate peaks. However, after saving the project (or a template) when I re-opening the project the record meters do not show the peak marker lines. The options are still checked in the meter settings but the meters themselves do not indicate this. The only way to get the peak and hold peak markers back in the record meters is to disable the settings and then re-enable them.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior? I tried it on two completely different machines with vastly different hardware and the problem shows up on both. I have already submitted a problem report to Cakewalk.

    By the way, I am talking about the above issue in the track view. I have seen reports of meter issues in console view, but this is happening in the track view.

    Not sure this is relevant, I have a track that's peaking on the track meter, the analyst shows the highest peak at -10 db
    And the peak sounds like s**t

    Are the various meteres in the various views coming from differnet places in the program??
