Have you exported the song out of Sonar as a WAV or MP3 file?

Then you may have saved it in the wrong folder. Try a Windows search on the filename to find it.

After 25 years of Windows you would think people have figured out how things are saved and pay attention when doing so.

When ever you save ANYTHING ( sorry for shouting) pay attention to the dialog and take note of the folder. Myself I always create my own folders and put them as close to the root of the folder tree as possible.

My Folder is called "Originals waves" for my stuff and if I make a album for someone it will be named as such " Mufftones Waves

The folders will be in C/ My Computer/Documents and settings/ Sonar mixdowns.

As Dave suggested, do a search for it. 'File management' is your friend  Next time, choose carefully where the file goes, so you know where to look for it.

another thing you can try is go to Search and type  .mp3  or .wav

should find all with that at the end.

Not sure but I think it has to be a certain file type to drop onto Movie Maker as well,  havent done alot of it but something to think about.
