SD3 Motown kit

How come the Sonic Reality Motown kit has no closed hat edge sound? is this normal and how do I add one.

I don't know why that kit doesn't have that sound.  However, you can replace sounds for each pad or note.  I am not by my computer right now but I just read about that in the X1 Power book.

It might be a right click on the instrument?

    Sharpdion23,

The closed hat is on A# while the open hat is on F#. Have you updated to X1b? There were s few fixes to SD#'s content.

The last time I tried substituting a new sound for one of the sounds/MIDI note numbers that popup when you right click on the pictures of the drums in SD, ALL the sounds in the popup get replaced by the new sound.

Don't know if they fixed this, but wanted you to know if it happens that it wasn't your fault, and you can get all the factory sounds by reloading the kit.

I hope it has been fixed. It's a serious limitation to whta is otherwise a terrific tool.

The open hat and closed hat work, but there are no sounds loaded for the hat edge closed/open. I want to load a soudn just for the hat open edge
