Have you used it? It seems interesting but based on the vintage I am guessing this is a 32 bit plug.

Yep... I have had that little gem for quite some time.

I do use it on some stuff. Mostly in the master buss.  It's definitely not an "in your face" plug.

It is very subtle in what it does.... even on it's "deep and wide" setting. To hear the difference, you will probably need to play the source material and click the bypass on and off while listening carefully to the subtle differences.

There is a slight softening of the mix when it is applied and active. I sometimes use it on a vocal track as well as on the full mix. Mostly on a full mix.

I find it useful on some mixes and not so much on others.  I would say.....By all means get it since it is free. Try it and see what you think. If you like it use it, if not..... just let it set there in your arsenal of plugs. You never know when you might find a use for it.

I tend to use it about 50% of the time... maybe less.

The occasion where I happened upon it was where another forumite of great technical renound and knowledge, was talking about it and comparing it with another similar plug that was available in the retail market..... but at a much, much higher cost than most hobbyists are willing to pay for anything.  With that carrot dangling, I had to get the Free Sheppi plug to try it.

Haven't used either, but I'll tell you what... for 990 skins that K-Stereo plug is FFFFFFuuuuugly! With a capital "FFFFFF". Man o' man is that thing hideous? Holy shnikees...

One of the best stereo tools I've used is NuGen Audio's Stereoizer.. http://www.nugenaudio.com/stereoizer.php

Not free or cheap, but well worth the $$$ if you need stereo tweaking w/ a nice intuitive UI and minimal sonic artifacts.
