SI Drum Volume

Hi, Fenderguy:

You could do one of several things:
1) Use the velocity slider within the track controls.  Make sure that you have the "All" category selected above the general track header instead of the "Custom" selection which Sonar typically defaults.  This will allow all of the track controls to be visible.
2)You could also try lowering all of the other tracks within your project that would allow your drum track to stand out more without clipping.  Use quick grouping to do this if you like (see Sonar videos or manual).
3)Try compresson to hold down the volume using Boost 11 or one of the included Sonitus plugins after freezing it (see below).
4)You could "freeze" the track first or convert it to an audio track then lower the volume as you would any audio track.
