SI Drum bounce to audio?

Hi everyone,

New to this forum but not to forums in general. I did a search and it turned up nothing on this one.
Can you convert an SI Drum track to audio?
I've done a few songs with a mix of patterns and live SI Drum recording, but I wasn't happy with any
of the programs for my lastest project so I did four separate tracks of live recording.
Now I've run out of synth space.
I read about how to convert a MIDI track to audio but can't seem to figure out the SI Drums.
I did freeze all of the tracks hoping that would work but it didn't.

    Welcome to the forum.
Freezing the tracks will remove the synths from processing, but does not remove the synths from the synth rack.
To bounce any soft synth, select the MIDI track and the synth track while holding down the Ctrl key on the computer keyboard.
The tracks will then be highlighted, changing color to show their new state.
Click Edit>Bounce to Track(s) at the top. A pop-up menu will allow you to choose how/where to bounce, click OK and the synth audio will be rendered to an audio track.
If all goes well, Archive the MIDI track and delete the synth from the synth rack (unless you want to use that synth for another track) and add another synth.
You don't say which version of LE you are using, but this is how it works in all the Cakewalk programs I've used.

Thanks for the help, going to try it now.
I am using an older version, X1 LE, and once I get the hang of this I am going to invest
    in an upgrade.

    OK, now it's getting weird.
I got all of the drum tracks converted to audio tracks. The process was similar to
    the above.
Now I've got only 7 tracks so far on this project and all are audio. I deleted all of the synth
tracks, saved it, and I still cannot add a synth track.
    Any ideas, anyone?

Okay. Did you delete the synths from the Synth Rack, or just delete the synth tracks from the project?
Click Views>Synth Rack and see how many are active in it.

Well---looks like I do not have this option: Views>Synth Rack

And I opened every option I had under "Views" to make sure I wasn't just being stupid, and everything else
I could open for that matter!

Any other ideas or does anyone else out there have X1 LE any more who can point me in the right direction?

The Synth Rack in X1 is a tab in the browser.
