SI-Bass does the funky-wunky!

Is it just me or does SI-Bass Guitar do wierd things?
 
Whenever I pause a song and hit play, or solo a track and then un-solo it, the SI-Bass either goes silent or blends one note into another forming one continuous bending note. To clear it I have to stop the song before continuing.
 
On other occasions it will miss notes at random throughout the song.
 
I don't know if it's the VI acting up or my computer trying to keep up with Sonar.
 
Is there a better bass VI out there?
