Silent Night a serenade kind of feel at the beginning. Nice instrumentation and vocals. Well done. Peace and Blessings, John

I like it best when the guitar comes in around the 53 sec mark. Nice version. Merry Christmas!

Hey there G.H. Oh, now dis be PRETTY! :-) Very good sir! Has been a while since I've listened to your stuff. Your mixing is so nice. Those L & R acoustics sound great. Is it the same guitar played twice or two different acoustics you used? How much of the piece is virtual instruments? I'm guessing definitely not the mandolin. Nice way to work with a great classic that was originally written on guitar (and not because the mice chewed the organ's strings, as the myth goes. Organs don't have strings!)
Hope you're well!

Wookie, Daryl, John, Clint, Martin : Glad you listened. The scoop on the instrumentation: Taylor acoustic guitar recorded twice not cloned. Taylor on the leads and fills. Mandolin is a Fender M-100 also played live. IIRC there are 5 vocal tracks. Bass, drums, steel guitar, fiddle are all sampled. Thanks for listening.

Thanks Frank... yeah I like playing with time sigs every now and then.... interesting things can happen when you change the time sig.... side note: in a band I was in we played Lucile...the song by Kenny Rogers. One night to make it interesting we played the verses in 4/4 and switched to 3/4 in the chorus.... it was fun and while it kinda threw the dancers a bit on the changes..... we had fun with it.
