listening on even worse speakers than the laptop...but sounds very pretty even so! Larry is always my fave acoustic player, some nice major key runs there sir! this is less in the folk genre and more...what? some Queen in James' playing, but it's just SMB, really! maybe a little Marillion in there? great!

Hi guys, this is a very interesting piece and the playing  and production is excellent. Guitars sound great as is the playing. Reminded me of Yes in their prime, really nicely done.

I totally agree w/the Yes comment...this is a wonderful piece! Love the 2:40ish change and the "sprighty" key work @ 3:01ish

Nice arrangement. I really like the mix. I can hear everything very clearly. When I saw the title, I was afraid it was going to make me cry :-( I'm glad it's an instrumental. Only thing I did not care for was that synth at 3:01. I just didn't like the color of it, the high pitched sounds. It didn't seem to fit with everything else, and everything else fit together so perfectly?

Thanks John! Pleasing a Wookiees thingy...well, that's something I never thought we'd do..

    Hi Mark -cheers! Queen..not sure..Marillion..probably!

Thank you Grant, you sir, are a gent

Hi Rik - many thanks. We've both listened to a fair amount of Yes, so maybe some of that rubbed off.

Hi James and Larry - Love this new piece. It reminds me of Pentangle and Magna Carta (my, that was some years ago!) - Modern melodic Folk with a mystic undertone. Your musicianship always excels but never more so as in this piece. It could last an hour and I would still want more.

    Best Regards
    Malcolm

    James/Larry,
I definitely got a Yes vibe on that intro (very reminiscent of Turn of the Century).  But then once the interaction between you two guys started I got a feel sort of like When Night Meets Light by the Dixie Dregs.  Anyway, no matter, it is all pure SMB and the mix is pristine, the performances inspired.  Loved it!  Great title too.

    Hi, James and Larry,

This is hauntingly beautiful with it's rich melodies, textured fluidity and amazing production quality!

Wonderful playing, excellent tones and great songwriting.  I agree with the Yes comparison, along with a bit of the band Flash and possibly Triumph thrown in for good measure.

    Very nice work, boys!

Wonderful waltz! Awesome transition at 04:00. Progressive rock at its best and brings back memories of my favourite band from that period - Camel.

    UGGGGHHH!!!

I made a LONG reply to this song last night and now I see it was somehow lost.   I hate it when that happens!!!

You guys are sounding great.  This is a beautiful piece.  But I'm too miffed withlosing it to type it all again.  You guys know I'm a fan.  I liked this a bunch.  I had no crits or suggestions.

    Hi James, Larry,
that was a pretty nice song
i enjoyed listening to it & it put me in an even better mood than the one i was in
it was well   developed & told a good musical story as it played through the various melodic themes
imho ..the lead guitar can come up a DB or 2 in a few places

Good stuff.  Very nice textures and turns in the song.  Nice to hear Larry finally practicing some guitar scales there in the beginning.

James, you had told me before, but tell me again what headphones you use to mix in?  I'm in the market and you've proven how well yours work.

No crits here - just enjoying the listen. Makes me think of a video travelogue type thing for some reason taking the viewer / listener on bit of a tour of the sights and sounds of some exotic location.
