I like where it seems to be going, overtones of some Mike Oldfield for me.

Just feel a little longer in the oven may help as there are moments when it gets a little cluttered if you get my furry drift.

    Thanks for sharing.

I suppose the mix sounded fine and there is that lullaby sound to it, so I am sure it would put me to sleep. I'm a little tired though so perhaps a meditative state would suffice.

I really like the mood this song put me in.  It has a calming effect on me because it is so uncluttered.  Everything sounds like it's where it ought to be which makes for a good mix.  The melody is haunting, and your choice of sounds is solid.  Very nicely done.

    All the best,

James - I love the vibe of this tune - extremely understated and it has an underlying menace to it.
On the technical side, I just think it needs to be subtly eq'd in certain areas - it seems a bit foggy in the mids to my ears. Just up my alley though

This piece completely blew me away. This is the music I used to listen to in the sixties and seventies but it was never, ever as good as this. This is Earth music. I can feel the heart pulse of the Planet in every note of this wonderful creation. The perfect Dream. Yep, I love it!

Thanks John, the Oldfield comparison is accepted Cluttered in frequencies maybe? Not many actual tracks in this one, we were quite restrained

Alf - err OK.. I think that's what's called 'damned with faint praise'

Lynn - aha, 'uncluttered'! Now what do I do?? Thanks a lot sir, glad you enjoyed it.

Daryl, thanks a lot, and yes, the lows and low-mids were fighting me on this one. I'm pleased that slightly uneasy feel came across. Yep, I LOL'd again...

Very drifty.  I would love this on the radio while crusing the desert or mountains.  Maybe bring the guitar up a tad but very sweet.  Cool bass sound and piano Larry.  Very meditative and very pretty.

    Hey James/Larry
The mix/performance sounds WONDERFUL on my end.  A lot of verbs and delays in this piece but you glued them together perfectly. I like that little synth that floats in every now and then. I really enjoy your music because it not just great to listen, but it paints a picture, puts you in a mood, and makes you think.  KUDOS GENTS!

Listening on my Vaio all in one (which is completely unforgiving to anything but the best mixes):this one is atmospheric, oddly propulsive and melodic as usual form you two. That whiny synth was perfectly played and placed. Guitars are amazing as expected.

However, there is some buildup from 250-400hz that is just so distracting, since there is some bass and percussion there constantly.
