SMPTE discrepancy

The following image shows my problem.  I am trying to trim in the video to 7 sec and frame 20.  When I trim the video it started me at 7 sec and frame 18.  I had to trim it to frame 22 to line up with the video SMPTE time.  It is a Quicktime video, obviously being used in 32 bit 8.5.3.  Is there a video setting somewhere I am not finding that may make my video 2 frames off?

Right click the red time display in your video and change it from MBT to SMPTE
Play the video and stop in a random location
Does Sonar's SMPTE display match the burned in time code ?
Adjust  Options > Project > Clock > SMPTE/MTC offset until it does

Also, check Sonar Frame Rate = Video Frame Rate while you're there..

Don't forget to set your framerate in SONAR to the same framerate as your video.

Yeah, what SonicPadawan said. Also, looks like your timecode burn indicates drop frame. Make sure you've set that in your project settings.
