[SOLVED] Direct Show Error [0x80040265] Cannot play back the file. The format is not sup

Hey

I know another guy that got this problem with *.wav files, but I have the same problem with Rex2. It was argued that it should be related to codec problems.... However, this is only happening in one project. When I open up en new template I can both load and preview the Rex2 files in the file brower in Sonar X3e Producer. Anyone else come across this problem?

I am not sure if it is related but I had to re-active all my VSTs a while ago, when working on this project. I had to activate Waves, iLok, Plugin Alliance again...

I have not encountered this error. If I did, I would open a ticket with Cakewalk support with the project file attached.

I think (not sure) I ran across this a couple times in the past. IIRC it related to using some of the really old stereo DirectX plug-ins (perhaps Tempo Delay) with mono tracks. My memory is a little hazy on the fix, but I think I converting the mono clip to stereo solved the problem.
