[SOLVED] Has someone noticed an "Export to WAV" issue with broken and looped files?

Today our client notices a fatal error in our WAV-files.
We have exported 14 recorded tapes to 28 files.

All 28 files contain not the 14 tapes - they contain ONLY a loop (2 seconds) that repeats itself again and again.
But the loop is not from the respective clip, its always the same loop. The loop is from 1 clip in the project. It loops itself into 28 files.
All broken files with the loops have the original playing time from the clip as it must be. Each file has the playing time of the associated clip.

Clips are recorded 44kHz 24-Bit --> exported as "What you hear" to 44kHz 16-Bit. (Dithering Triangular, 64-Bit-Engine off)
Newest and current version of SONAR from 07.June 2017
Source category: clips.
So the 28 clips are automaticly exported to 28 files with the name of each clip.
Each file has the playing time of the associated clip.

I have never - never - experienced such an issue over the last 10 years.
I can't monitor 1000's hours of recordings. I must be sure, that this was an absolutely unique issue.

Therefore I ask if someone other has noticed this problem?

The only thing I can think of is selection.
If there is a small selection made in the timeline Sonar will think that's the time length.

Have you tried using CNTRL+SHIFT+A to select None ?
Then try your export again ?

Hi Thomas - Sorry to hear this - does it relate to a change made associated with this thread:
http://forum.cakewalk.com/SOLVED-Selecting-audio-clips-per-QWERTZkeyboard-m3637258.aspx ?

I don't do the kind of work you do and have the luxury of being able to listen and verify everything I put out. I haven't noticed anything unusual - but if you can suggest a trial I could run that would test a particular scenario I would be happy to do so. If you run a short trial test with a file involving a small number of loops or clips, do you get ambiguous or questionable results?
Chuck does similar (?) work - so maybe he will chime in with his experiences.
It seems most likely it is a systematic error that was introduced into that particular project, versus an error in the program. If I had to pin it on something in SONAR, I would say maybe Ripple Editing was inadvertently at play? Possible?

Thank you.
Just we found out, there were also 3 files EMPTY.

The problem is not repeatable.
I have just loaded the backup and exported the files again. Everything now is perfect and the new files are now completely OK. !! Not one change was made to the project. !!
I suspect that there was something in the audio buffer and SONAR could not empty it - or even not fill with new audio. That would explain that the files had the exact playtime of the clips.
We already had projects with over 100 GB audio, and there was never a problem.
I suspect as well that none of Cakewalk's programmer had ever tried to work with 28 clips, each of 3 hours, and a project length of 80 hours. Because SONAR officially ends with 24 hours and then counts again from 0 ...24. At 27:00 the Big Time say 3:00.
Possibly this can as well caused the issue. I have not thought about this limit anymore.

If no one else had this issue, then I'm happy. Then this was an absolute exception. Perhaps SONAR or the computer was simply overloaded - or Windows has caused a problem.

If several people had reported the same issue, then it would be a general problem.
