SOLVED! Help! Can't Get The Maschine Controller To Operate Properly Inside Of Cakewalk (CxB)

So, suddenly when I open Maschine as a VST, it doesn't start the Maschine controller properly. It comes on. However, the screens are blank and all of the buttons are lit up white. The whole unit is unresponsive.

I've opened Maschine up inside of Studio One and it works fine. I've opened it up as a stand alone and it works fine. I've completely uninstalled the program, restarted my PC, reinstalled Maschine then rescanned my plug-ins. Yet, I still have the same problem.

Everything was working fine a few days ago. Now, I can't figure out how to fix this. And, I'm usually pretty good at figuring these things. Any ideas?

BTW, I have Maschine MK3 with all the latest updates.

I have Komplete Select 11, therefore, I don't have Machine.  But If I did owne Machine, it would be awesome!!!
 

Tried a reinstall. Still the same issue. However, I did notice that the pads will trigger sounds. Yet, they remain white and the screens are all blank.

I thought it was the Maschine controller, itself. But, it works fine in every other DAW I have. So, there's definitely something wrong with the way Cakewalk(CxB) is communicating with the controller.

I've uninstalled Cakewalk(CxB) and reinstalled it. Still, the same behavior. However, I did notice that the pads will trigger sounds. Yet, they remain white (as does all of the other illuminated buttons) and the screens are all blank.
Maybe, there's some type of "VST memory" that Cakewalk(CxB) has, that isn't getting deleted when I uninstall and re-install Cakewalk (CxB)?

Can't speak for Lateef , but I've tried every combination of midi in/out preference settings I can think of in sonar and maschine(even some ridiculous ones!!) To try to get the controller to work.
 
But no luck,  after altering the settings, I start platinum or CbB then add maschine as a soft synth, the two screens on the controller go blank and every button/pad lights up
 
You can still use the software part of maschine and load up say a drum kit, and the 16 pads on the controller will sound when pressed, but none of the other buttons on the controller are usable and remain lit, and the 2 screens remain blank.

Can it be that NI is coding its hardware to not work on "unsuportet" hardware?

The guy from NI didn't mention anything about Maschine not working with Sonar/CbB, and as mentioned in my previous post is downloading CbB to test with Maschine 3
Also
I found that X1 X2 and X3 all worked with the Maschine Mk3 plugin whereas Platinum didn't

Sorry I dissapeared. I've been working on a deadline and really needed to get these songs demoed. So, thought it best to just work around the problem than try to spend anymore time (I'd already lost 2 days trying to figure it out) attempting to fix it. Plus, it's a holiday weekend. I'm not expecting to hear anything back from the bakers (are we still calling them that?) until Tuesday.

But, I did send an email to Bandlab about the issue as well as make a bug report in the provided forum space. I didn't attempt to contact NI because Maschine works as expected in the other DAWs I own which makes me believe it's a CxB problem.

Things had been working great in Cakewalk (CxB) as late as a couple of weeks ago. After that, I hadn't done anything until this past week when I originated the forum request for help. So, this is something new.

I wonder if it's a Windows update or the latest CxB that could be the culprit?

Also, I tried looking for Niall at NI, but there's more than a few that come up when I do a search. Do you have any contact info on him?

Thanks for reaching out to us Were you using the Maschine MK3 as you wanted to within SONAR X1/X2/X3? Cakewalk by BandLab offers identical core features to that of SONAR Platinum, so configuring your device should be a similar experience to what you had done in the past. If you have a previous version of SONAR running with the controller as you want it, open that versions Preferences menu and check out your MIDI/control surfaces preferences. You should be able to apply these same settings to our new version and have the same end result. If you make any changes or reconfigure any settings within the new version, be sure to click Apply to save your changes!
You may also want to reach out to Native Instruments for any tutorials regarding using Maschine MK3 within a DAW, setup and practices for best integration, etc.

I have replied informing support that my preference settings in Platinum/CbB are the same as in X1 X2 and X3 and that other daws and previous versions of sonar work fine with Maschine mk3

I received an email from Mike at Bandlab. He wanted to know if I was having the same issue if I used Platinum. I informed him I did and that there was at least one other user with the same problem. He seems to understand the issue at hand, just not how to fix it, yet.

I'm thinking I'll hear back tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on whatever info I receive.

Hi. I am also having trouble with the NI Komplete Kontrol VST and NI Hardware.
 
My Komplete Kontrol S61 works great as a MIDI keyboard, but the VST specific things does not work. The screens on the keyboard are blanc when they should show info from the VST open in Cakewalk.
 
I would be happy to help you out with testing, and can also give you all the info I can give about this. If needed.
