Re: Ivory II fails to play properly in SONAR Platinum in upgraded Win 10 Pro (both 64bit) 2015/12/07 16:11:49 (permalink)
Yes, the update should appear in Cakewalk Command Center. If it does not, click on the settings cog (upper RH corner) and click the "Check Now" button.

Thanks!

Thanks, I dl'ed it yesterday. Seems to straighten out the hassle just fine.

You guys are great.

And Merry Christmas (if it isn't too early to say so).

This is so cool how things are getting resolved so fast.  This is the 2nd time i've seen this happen this year.

So on a side note... I have Ivory I.  Is it worth the upgrade to Ivory II?

Yes, it's worth it to upgrade, very much so; in my opinion the resonance makes it worth it all by itself. My favorite piano, however, is the Ivory II American Concert D, which you can get as a stand-alone. It lists for $199. Here's a review from Keyboard:

I tend to use this piano for everything, even though I have the full version of Ivory II. It's kind of scary. I believe that if one is composing in a jazz style, one should project an identifiable sound, hence, I tend to use this one piano above others when writing my own compositions and need an acoustic piano. It has no problem being soloed and no one ever has suggested that he/she can pick out the fact that the piano is a virtual instrument. Check the demos on the Synthogy site.
