[SOLVED] MIDI "wheel" automation question

Hi,
Question to MIDI wizards out there :-)
I have a synth bass that I control with wheel automation (pitch) here and there in a song. The pitch shift seems to go down only half a note, I would like it to go further down. Is there a standard MIDI control over this? Or would I need to do that in the synth (Waves Element) ?

The amount of pitch bend response is, usually, patch dependent, but some synths map pitch wheel range globally. Waves Element 2.0 has a "Bender" source that you can set the range for. Not sure what is available in the older release.

Cool...I will look for the Bender when I get home (yes it's Element 2). Thanks.

It's actually called "Blend" in Global section. That did it. Thanks! have a great weekend.

Weird. Doesn't agree with the documentation I found, but at least you got it working!

Sorry it's a typo , it's of course Bend and not Blend. But yeah, that did the trick :-)
