[SOLVED] Merge two (project, not track) templates into one?
I have two rather complex project templates (with aux tracks) that I would like to combine. They do not have any duplicate track or bus names. Can this be done? What ever I google only seems to come up with how to get a track template into a project. Maybe I'm not googling it right.

Maybe save the tracks from Project 1 as a track template, and then insert it into Project 2? Then drag the files from Project 1 into the corresponding tracks in Project 2? I haven't been able to find a better way.

Slugbaby Then drag the files from Project 1 into the corresponding tracks in Project 2?
These are empty project templates. No audio/midi files.

I misunderstood. Can you add both templates to a project, and then highlight everything and save it as a new track supertemplate? I don't know of any limits on track/aux quantities... I'm not at my DAW today to try it myself.

That's exactly what I'd try first ...

Not sure how project templates work, haven't used, but you could save each as a track template, then open a blank project, insert from template each one, then save the whole thing as a project template…

Export one or both as Track Templates then create a new project and import both.. if you export only one, bring that track template into the other project. I guess I should add that after you create this monster project save it as a project template...
