[SOLVED] No "slur" - Kirk Hunter Spotlight Strings

[SOLVED] Got great support from Kirk Hunter on this (and it was totally my own confusion - product works as advertised)

I figured someone here must be using Kirk Hunter Spotlight Strings

When "Slur" turned on, playing overlapped notes does NOT give "slur" effect. Other features work.Got great support
Spent hours trying to figure out what is the problem. Reinstalled it, no go.
Only thing that seems unusual to me is the install instructions say the result of the unzipped files should include folder named "Spotlight", but that is not shown when I go to the link to download the zip files.

If you own Kirk Hunter Spotlight Strings, could you please let me know if your Library folder has a subfolder named "Spotlight". (And is there anything in it?)

Thank you!

I was going to suggest the KVR forum for official Kirk Hunter support, but you have cross posted there already.

OK how did you solve it?

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

It was a twisted tale and long story of how this happened but I actually somehow got it "stuck in my head" that the "slur" button was for "glide between notes" (i.e. portamento). I know the difference, but sometimes a combination of little things happens that leads the brain into a mental "plane crash".
But Kirk Hunter himself helped me back to sanity. And at least I did find out the support is excellent!
