SOLVED: Quick Automation question: envelopes should produce visible level changes yes?

SOLVED: Quick Automation question: envelopes should produce visible level changes yes?

So I've automated a bus send, shouldn't I see the Send Level change values in the Track View widget as playback goes through envelope changes? Automation Read is set to ON.

    okay, update: a bus volume envelope will show the little automation icon in the widget. The send level does not, but it IS reading the envelope automation. Is that by choice or is that a little buglette?

    Is the problem that the slider doesn't respond, or you're not seeing an automation widget for send level? Both happen here.

    Yah, neither one on this instance. But, the envelope is audibly working. Strange.

    Nope. Normal mode.
     
    I haven't played with any of the other widgets, this project is an old one and has come a long way. It's also my final mix, so I'm going to bounce out my stems, make about 20 backups and try not to breath on it too much and cross my fingers. :-)

    Aha. Turns out I somehow created TWO sends to the same verb. I dragged down my track window and AHA there it appeared, with the proper automation widget assigned. I didn't even know you could create multiple sends to the same bus on a track. Whoops!
