SOLVED: Rapture w/ Sonar x32 on Vista x64

I'm setting up a new DAW and have gone with Vista x64 because I'm hoping not to have to reinstall the system for a couple of years.

However, I've installed Sonar 6.2.1 x32 for VST compatibility. I figure it'll be easier to reinstall Sonar in a year or so than to reinstall the whole system.

However, the Rapture 1.1 installer is apparently smart enough to detect Vista x64 and install the 64 bit version... which x32 Sonar can't see as a DXi instrument. At least, that's what I assume is going on. The bottom line is that Rapture installs fine (and defaults to the \program files directory rather than \program files (x64)), and the microhost works fine, but the DXi is not visible from Sonar, either in the SoftSynth->add view or in the SoftSynth layout editor.

Any way to force Rapture to install the 32 bit version?

    Got it fixed.

    Short version:
    - Install Rapture on a non-x64 machine
    - Copy rapture.dll to the x64 machine's rapture directory (back up the x64 one first)
    - Find accessories/command prompt, right click, run as administrator
    - regsvr32 rapture.dll
