[SOLVED?] Serious System Crash using Melodyne in X3 x64.

I don't use Melodyne that often but today I gave it a go. After editing the 3rd wave clip (they are small and bounced before editing) Sonar went white then the blue screen of death ended everything.

HP laptop, Win7x64, 16gb ram, 750gb harddrive.

MOTU audio express, ASIO, 48000/24, Buffer 512.

I might add that in x3 I always get loud crackling overload issues frequently when editing a lot of audio clips forcing me to close and reopen Sonar to clear. I defrag and save regularly throughout every session.

You might try increasing your buffers to 2048.  Did you happen to note what the BSOD error was?

I found I had less than 10% free space on C:/ drive which I'm sure contributed.  After a system cleaning and defrag it's working fine, though I only use it very lightly.
