[SOLVED] Set metronome to dotted quarter-note?

In a 6/8 meter, depending on the work, the metronome set within the score is described as dotted quarter-note (two beats per measure in 6/8) and not a single quarter-note (3 beats per measure).
Is there any way to do set metronome to dotted quarter-note in Sonar?

    In the metronome settings you can set the Beat subdivision to 1, or a 1/2, or a 1/3, or 1/4 is that what you are looking for?

    That's right.
    Although this should be registered within the project, not in preferences, since this type of configuration is relevant to the project.

    IIRC, the metronome settings are in the project preferences so they are stored per project with a default defined in the project template.

    Scook beat me to it, some preferences are per project and some are global, the problem lies do you have two places for preferences or one.
