SOLVED _ lost all of the icons

lost all of the icons / toolbars, how do I get them back? i must have hit something to remove them.. why is ther not a TOOLBARS/VIEW menu?!?!?!?!?!?!  If there is, then where is it??!?!?!

    I am a little unsure about what you are looking for, is it the "Control Bar" that would be keyboard command C. http://www.cakewalk.com/D...Req=ControlBar.01.html

    The numbers on your keyboard will change the screenset back to whatever you like.

    ok, there are all these icons, transport (play record etct, sample rate, smart tool etc. all of these icons on the top of the screen.  they have all disappeared. how to I get them back?  I call them toolbars. who knows what sonar calles them! can't find any documentation on thos.  as fars the numbers keys, please elaborate. I am dead in the water until I get this fied.

    It sounds to me like you have changed your screenset. By hitting one of the numbers. This screwed me up at first but those are for changing the screensets. If you haven't tried it yet you may like going through them.

    i hit something by accident and my control bar disappeared. was easy to get back, just didn't know what it was called.

    to bring your control bar back hit C on the keyboard, this hides / un hides the whole control bar.
    in the console view if you look down the very bottom there is a drop down button that says "display" on it.
    this will remove/add things to the console view, tracks view can be found in the track viewsettings above the tracks, its in view.
