SOLVED!!! i found a way to crash Sonar Plat!!
Ok get this...so i recorded an Orchestra for 1:30 piece of music. 32 mics on the orch. We did 4 takes and the last 2 where pretty good. So I sunk them together...64 audio tracks of live Orchestra...
Next i added CineStrings (5 tracks) , Omnisphere (4 tracks) , 2 instances of Rapture, and an instance of Kontackt (with perc and 2 8dio's Hybrid II)
Then 7 tracks of me playing string (gtr like) instruments.
about 97 tracks...
I added a ton of processing. Reverbs, Wave plugins, Concrete Limiters, Ozone 5 on the master.
Everything Runs very well, and I only have 12 gig ram on a 6 year old machine. Very impressive.
til I try to do this....I recorded myself playing bass. I tapped (banged) a rhythm with a drum stick on the lowest string. Since I can't play bass and have bad rhythm, I audiosnapped the part, then transposed the notes to match the Roots of all chords. I tried Melodyne, but it did not work that low and noisey.
Everytime I do this thing with the bass, the project plays well, but when i exit and load the song back up the project becomes corrupt. Looking at Task Manager It appears my RAM gets full. My computer becomes very sluggish and I can't even reboot without shutting the computer off.
So I found a way...can anyone confirm?? (JK!!)
