You may need to show the FX bin module in the tracks. You can find this at the top of the TV.

I don't know what you mean by TV. No effects bin in track view.

Timeking I don't know what you mean by TV. No effects bin in track view. --TV is the abbreviation we always use for Track View. Choose to see "All" and you'll have the FX bin and everything else which should be displayed as default. RB

OK, yeah, Track View. I am in Track View. there is no "see All" I can find on any pull down tab. I have pored thru the Garrigus book, but can't figure this out. In some of my previous X1 projects, the FX bin was there on each track. On the one I am working on now, it isn't. Sorry, but I am STUCK.

It may say "Custom" - it is in the header area just above all the tracks -

This (to the right of the clock): Maybe it's set to "Custom" or one of the other options. -Susan

OK. Got it. I must've clicked everywhere but there. I like this program. It does some neat stuff. But it is hell having to unlearn Cakewalk since before (!!!!) Pro Audio. Maybe if I hold my head real close to a speaker magnet, I can do a reset, start with clean slate.

For some reason only known to the X1 programmers, the track headers in the TV default to "Custom" view--when it's "All" which is the only useful view. As you see now, as soon as you ask to see All (possible options), the FX bin is visible. The situation was similar in previous Sonars, where a stripped down view was the default for the track header, but I still can't imagine why we would want to see anything but all possible options. - Glad you got the info you needed. HOLD ON just a minute - you mean I have to choose "ALL" every blinking time I open a new project??? Isn't there some way to make it default to "ALL" in preferences? If not, this is really stupid. If anybody knows how to do this let me know. It's getting irritating having to change it every time. TM

All you need do is create a project the way you like it set up and make that your default project by saving it as the normal.cwp or cwt in the templates directory.
