SONAR 2015 Training Videos?

SONAR 2015 Training Videos?

Two questions actually.
 
1) What commercially produced training videos, if any, are available for SONAR 2015
2) How will commercially produced training video releases be accomplished with the new Cakewalk distribution model?  Will they wait and release each year, when major features are released or what?

    I think there is an SWA new features guide so far. Groove3 usually appears shortly after release. The answer to the second question is anyone's guess, but we have precedent in several popular programs that have a rolling release. When shopping for books or training videos for Adobe products you now have to pay closer attention to publish date.

    Yes, I know about the SWA release and was curious about Groove3.  I'd be interested in what the bakers think will happen as far as future releases.

    I had the same question about training videos.  How would they sync videos up with this new method of updates and what not.  Seems like it would create a content creation nightmare for 3rd party content vendors.

    It's  not as nightmarish as you think. I know a guy who writes books on After Effects and Does training videos on Lynda.com and it's  business as usual.  It's not much different than handling all the overlap of upgrades in general. The biggest challenge is naming in a way that does not confuse. If you do a search for photoshop or after effects resources, not much has changed as far as releases. That author that puts out a bookonce a year, still does so since the same number of major updates still occurs at roughly the same rate.

     Too bad MacProVideo/AskVideo doesn't do Cakewalk products anymore.   I prefer them over the other two.  All videos are in short steps.  The others will have a 20+ minute segments.
