Command Center doesn't show it under Rollback here.

EDIT: Had to select Check Now. This seems to be a new thing.

Out of interest, is anyone who has suffered with the issues  after the last Windows update seeing any improvements?  Ca2a crashes, etc.

I was lucky, so can't really test.  The only problems I had were occasional crashes on start up.

    EDIT:

Just seen Lynn's thread - VST scan still hanging on CW synths even after installing 2016.12

I'm still unable to load projects or to insert CA2A into a new test project. Not sure what this has changed.

If inserting ca2a crashes, the way to avoid the crash is to insert another module into the pc, then replace it with ca2a. Works for me.

Re: SONAR 2016.12 Early Access - fixes list? 2016/12/16 03:19:34 (permalink)
Well. my DAW isn't broken but I admit I have some in-housekeeping to do. And this just isn't the time of year to be in the mood to actually do it.  I want toys!  So pardon me while I temporarily Grinch out here.

In 2014 when Sonar went to the new model I was skeptical, but I was blown away by the improvements in a 12 month period.  It was a substantially worthy successor to a rock-solid X3.   I was happy.  I re-upped, but I did think I was fine where I was.  It turned out to be cool.

This year I re-upped simply because $99 doesn't allow me anything I want (currently there's a few things @ $199 which I probably don't need), but $400-$500 seems to be where I am now - and that takes time to accrue.

So forking over $199 this year to CW (lifetime membership) has me a bit disoriented.  "Improvements" lately are for the 1st time are becoming tedious to me.  Wrecked screensets and the templates that use them has depressed me.  Nice new theme that can't have colored strips in the console view...

No ripple editing yet & something else I'm waiting for (don't remember) which is coming in 2016...

I feel bad for the CW guys.  I know they're busting their brains getting Sonar OSX done before lifetime membership expires.  Or will it, & for whom?

Ok, end Grinchness.  I've seen criticisms around about Sonar constantly "re-inventing the wheel" but I don't really feel that way.  I have no problems with updates just for bug-fixes.

    It's Christmas, I want toys.
