SONAR 2017.04 - Qustion about track select via track name click.

I see as described that we can now select a track via track name click - ok.

If one clicks the track number, it highlights as usual, indicating it is selected.
If one then goes and clicks a different track via the track name then that strip is indeed selected,
but the previous track that was selected via it's number has it's track number still highlighted
as though it's selected like Sonars of old. This behavior is seen in console view and track view.

Shouldn't that high lit number march along with the selection of strips by name?

Track Focus and Track Selection are actually 2 different things in SONAR. Clicking a track name will focus the track for recording, viewing it in the Inspector, Importing audio, etc. Track Selection is a little different, it allows for moving tracks to a folder, deleting the data on the track, or deleting the tracks themselves, etc.

Focusing a track when they are all minimized was very difficult and the natural thing to do was click the name in these situations. That is now possible with SONAR 2017.04.

sorry to be lazy, but is there a clear description somewhere of the difference between "selected" and "focussed"? ie, how to select or focus, how the track indicates it's selected/focussed, and what can be done when it is selected/focussed? for example, is "focussed" a subset of "selected" (like a "selected lite")?
