SONAR 2017.08 Early Access should be any time now......
There was a hint of a possible, long sought after, bug fix in this one. I am hoping this makes it in to this update.
Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram . PCR-800 Controller. (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)CPU: i5 4670. Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers). Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen
Internet always on.

Perfect timing for this question. Not too early, not too late. I don't like when people start asking TOO early in the month. It's like those folks who put up Christmas lights at the end of September, or as soon as the leaves start to turn colors.  My guess is for early next week -the 28th - 30th. I've been checking every day for the past week, in case they decided to sneak it out without announcing it. And I'd just like to say that I am AMAZED that the bakers can offer monthly updates that are both useful and enjoyable. I don't know how they do it, month after month.

I guess SONAR gets a builtin radio as plugin. So we can hear a little bit (better) Music during we record and mix a (boring) song for a paying client.

I hope the Bakers have not quietly abandoned the ERs and reverted back to just releasing the public update when it's ready... Those ERs are/were mighty handy for weeding out bugs...

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I am craving the new update as well, however, I would rather have them get it right and take their time than to just have them rush it to us and provide us just any update.

National disaster. The bugs at Cakewalk went on a rampage and bit the bakers in the buns. More than half of the bakers had to go to the hospital to get the bugs removed. Because of this incident is the update for August postponed. National Bug and Disease control.

To be fair, the current Sonar is light-years ahead of anything X3. That makes going for the 50% upgrade to the current Sonar is a no brainer - even without knowing what September has in store. I have a feeling that the next update will be awesome.

Has no one even noticed that July was released in August, so technically we lost a month... I'm not expecting the next update until September. I really don't care but we did lose a month of our monthly updates. I would rather have great updates then the rushed update... But it's not the first time Cakewalk has not followed through on a what they agreed to do... I truly think they mean well... Peace! And don't bother dumping on me... lol
