SONAR 6 LE, TTS-1, Failed to insert soft synth

I am running SONAR 6 LE on a Windows 7 64-bit system. I started out going through the tutorials and stopped when I was asked to insert a TTS-1 into the sample project. Since TTS-1 is not included with LE, I purchased Music Creator 6. After installing Music Creator, I was able to access the SI-Drumkit in SONAR with no problems, but when I try to insert the TTS-1 the following error message appears: "Failed to insert soft synth. The synth may not be properly installed." I've opened the TTS-1 in Music Creator 6, so I assume there's no problem with the file. What changes do I need to make in order to open the TTS-1 in SONAR 6 LE?

    Welcome to the forum.
SONAR 6 LE is not compatible with Win 7, while MC 6 is.
Try right-clicking the SONAR icon and the executable SONAR file on the hard drive and click Troubleshoot Compatibility. That will make Win 7 try to run SONAR in compatibility mode. Also click Run As Administrator.
That might work... or it might not.

Also, you may have gotten 2 versions of TTS-1; a DX version and a VST version.
The DX probably won't work on your 64-bit computer.

Thanks Greg. I haven't had any problem running SONAR, simply unable to insert the TTS-1. The other soft synths that came with MC work fine. I believe I have a VST version, but how can I tell for sure?

There will be 2 listed. The VSTs are in one section of the Insert Soft Synth menu box, then there will be a line seperating the DXs from the VSTs.
