I ordered before I even saw the feature list, but it has everything I was looking for. Now if it fixes the stubborn synth bug that I (and only I apparently) am having I'll be 100% set. (Having improved 20-40%)

Are the improvements to BitBridge that Noel mentioned to us really in there? I didn't see those listed? He said you will be able to use ACT with BitBridge and there were other improvements too.... can you, Noel or any other Baker now officially confirm that?

Yes ACT now works under Bit-Bridge and I can confirm this.

Im just looking forward to seeing what it looks like!

Also - what about staff view - we all answered a long questionnaire about it - not that i really care right now, S7 is looking truley awesome without it!!!!!!!!

Looks like a decent upgrade. MIDI improvements have been sorely needed. CD rip/burn. Dim Solo. FLAC support. Sidechaining. Step Sequencer View . Better ACT. Pitch to MIDI. Limiter. External Insert with ADC. Drag and Drop EQ. I/O Shortcuts. 2GB+. Publisher.

Nothing earth shattering (IMO), just steady deliberate improvement as usual.

Are you freakin' serious? That's awesome!

You guys seriously blew the lid off with this one. The Universal Bussing was HUGE in S3, and the 64-bit engine was HUGE in S5, and ACT was HUGE in S6, and there have been SOOOOO many great enhancements and improvements over the years. But for users like myself who primarily use MIDI and soft synths this has got to be by far the biggest upgrade since Sonar 1 first supported soft synths in the first place!

And we get a STEP-SEQUENCER?!!!???!!!????!!

Now all I need is real-time input of chords and articulations via MIDI and I will have reached DAW nirvana.

That was my feeling exactly. In practise I think allot of innocuous sounding features will turn out to be very important for every day use.

Not on DimPro. DimLE is pretty nice, but I suspect that a LOT of Sonar 7 users will upgrade to DimPro once they start using it.
