From another thread... does "Full VST functionality..." on the two new linear phase plugs mean they're NOT locked to SONAR?

I really like the ordering process and getting the SN/Registration keys sent on the spot once the product is ordered. I remember previous versions of Sonar had some small fiasco with the SN/Registration keys. (software shipping days before keys are released, ect...)

Yes it means they are not locked to SONAR.

Maybe that Logic 8 cost $499 and Sonar 7 $619...
If you want the iZotope Radius stretching that Sonar has included, you'd better add $399.99 to the price of Logic. That makes logic $898.99 to get closer to Sonar's feature set, and it still aint there. No contest. Interesting too that Logic's new feature set could easily have been pasted straight out of the Sonar 5/6 "What's new" section

x-mas in sept. ive waited for these midi enhancements for a while now. does this mean no more input quantize? is it auto quantized now??? if so i can lay fl studio to rest & "finally" do everyhing in sonar!

I think I can lay Live to rest now. Sonar is all you need in a sequencer.
