Thanks for trying to PM me. It was the issue with DFHS when trying to save the mono synth output tracks in a track template, it reverts them back to stereo. Here are a few threads explaining it better.

Anyone else having upgrade problems? when I get to the screen asking me to enter a qualifying serial number, I enter mine and hit Submit, but nothing at all happens.

I just searched this post (every page) for CAL and couldn't find it.

Is CAL still supported? I live in constant fear that it will be dropped.

OK, I try to order the upgrade, and it says my email is not correct. I have purchased Both Sonar and Dimension Pro in the past. Whats up with that?????

I guess I'm not going to be a brown noser in this thread. I'm not sure I want to pay $229 because I balked at Sonar 6.
What happened to the upgrade to Sonar6 get 7 free deal for LOYAL Cakewalk customers?

If you mean velocity compression, you've always been able to accomplish this destructively with the Event Inspector Toolbar. (I did a somewhat entertaining video to demo this once). Besides that, drum maps have a per-row velocity scaling and offset as does the new Step Sequencer.

I really wish this would have been fixed in sonar6.

finally sidechaining..

seems like an almost complete software-package,
with every update I ask myself how it was possible to "work" with previous versions..
a lot of features have been added that I don't want to miss anymore..
Sonar is becoming, more or less, an "all in one"-solution.. I like that, although most of us have already upgraded their (missing) softsynths/plugins in the past with cakewalk or 3rd-party-products.. so it's kind of a pain to see that previous investments could have been avoided when seeing the feature-list of Sonar7.
I've been waiting and asking for an integrated burning-feature.. great that that's been adressed now, although I wish that there'd be the possibiltiy to burn surround-projects (DVD-Audio or a more compatible DVD-Video format) within Sonar, but that might be adressed in future versions.

A state of the art system for working w/ audio loops. The current toolset: loop explorer / loop construction view / cyclone -- quite frankly sucks. ableton excels in this area and sonar is way way behind. in fact i'd like to see live performance w/ sonar attacked overall -- sonar has some amazing capabilities in this area, but it needs buffing up for sure.

ANYWAY, I will be ordering P7 as there's a lot of great stuff there. A big thanks for listening to your user base more effectively than any software company i know.

I wonder if Kontakt 2 (and soon 3) will ever properly tempo sync now? Some scripts and envelopes in K2 lose it in Sonar.

Darn, I just bought Z3TA+ this summer too not to mention that I bought Rapture last summer.

I bought +Z3ta last week. Given that the download price is well over half the upgrade price from S6PE to S7PE, I am feeling not so good about the value for money aspect of this upgrade. In principle, it seems no different to the situation of someone who bought S6 last week, and they get a special deal, so I am hoping that CW will find a fair way of handling this.

This is a MAJOR upgrade!

Does Reason still show up with L&R channels on each rewire channel [if all synth outputs is selected when inserting Reason as a rewire device], despite these being MONO outputs from Reason?

Being a good boy and doing as I am asked I go to the Estore again log into my account and there is no record of me having purchased Sonar 7 and of course no registration numbers.

Not sure its because I live in Europe but not one single purchase from Cake has ever gone as it should have done. This one looks like no exception, mail sent to Cake support last night with a sigh of here we go again

OK I get hit for transport costs at $21 which takes my invoice price to €191 but can someone explain to me at CAKE how you can justify a taking $50 dollars over the exchange rate? Fluctuation in the rates OK allow a 10% hike anything else my friends is as close to a rip off as you can get.

Do you have something against foreign users as it certainly can't be translation costs as I ordered the English version?

I really wish this would have been fixed in sonar6.

Looks like a nice solid upgrade - I was hoping for a fix for this too so that I could use BFD properly with Jamstix2 as a VST - I use it as a DXI right now and it is fine but a VST implementation would be more versatile.

I am also hoping that ACT templates have been expanded for more hardware then I see listed but on the face of it looks like a solid workman like upgrade and that's great! - Good Job Cake!!

Yeah and Propeller Heads gave everyone a heads up a new version would be out. Back in August if you bought Reason 3 they would give you Reason 4 when it's released.

And probably some of the other software you have is announcing upgrades. Kind of makes it difficult where to put your $$

Does anyone know where I need to go to officially change my contact info so I can receive emails from Cakewalk? I used to get them without fail, but I moved in April and I've been far to worried about other things to bother with this, si it didn't get taken care of. Now that the S7 is out, I want the email corrected before I place any orders.

Nice release. I too would like to see some enhancements to Notation.
I purchased Sonar 6 in August and have not yet seen an e-mail for the special upgrade price.
I plan on upgrading to Sonar 7.
