SONAR 7 / Win7 64 Install Problem

Hi All, I've been having a few problems with SONAR 7 on my rig lately and decided to do a uninstall / reinstall cycle. Boost11 was causing problems loading old projects (SONAR 7 format projects) and my SSL Duende Native plugins weren't being recognised. When running the install again part of the C++ 5 redistribution installer crapped out complaining about lack of disk space on the l: drive ... I don't even have an l: drive. I couldn't get this to install properly and bombed out of that install and it proceeded to complete the rest of the installation. Starting SONAR for the first time it appears to scan everything but takes an absolutely age to scan Boost11.dll again ... What's the deal here? Any ideas on the C++ or Boost11 issues? Thanks,

Jammer

32 bit software-64 bit os ?? I still have Sonar 7 installed on my new Windows 7 computer as I thought I'd use it for old projects. I never did need it as they seem fine running in Sonar 8.5 64bit. But it seemed to instal without a hitch. If you get the c+++ message just make sure your on line and tell it to update, that's what happened to me.If not you might need to run windows updates and bring it up to speed. I think it's at 2008 now. I sure wouldn't care if Boost11 did not install as I find it a bit of a turdD anyhow...

Yeah, I'm definitely installing the 64bit version. This machine is completely up-to-date as well. I have all available version of C++ re-distributable installed. Very odd. Has anyone else seen this error during install?

I would try installing the 32 bit version first. What I understand the 64 bit version was not stable and issue were fixed in Sonar 8. You can always upgrade to X1. But you missed the boat on 8.5 I think.
