Google SOnar Plus at SOnar Mods, although why anyone would want to get rid of one of the most useful improvements is beyond me. 4) what happened to right-clicking on an audio clip & having an AUDIO/CLIP PROPERTIES dialog option...??? & where exactly are the clip properties...???...(I know audio snap pallette was moved...but what about everything else...e.g., what if I actually want to rename an audio clip...???...that knd of thing) All now in the inspector. 5) speaking of #2...is there a way to add any function buttons to the CONTROL BAR...??? See Sonar Plus mentioned in 3 above thanx, You're welcome.

That's because we both have great minds and think alike. Mind you I think I'm funnier than you, but you have more talent...

Very possibly..... but it might take a while to get it together what with all the unfunny and untalent involved.

Yeah, there's no SONAR 11. After SONAR 8.5 the came SONAR X1. Please get it right? Even if they kept the same naming scheme, X1 would be the 10th in production, not the 11th.

I think its a roman numeral interpretation, 11? Or else a nod out to Nigel. 11.

I think its a roman numeral interpretation, 11? Oh, that's understandable, as in XI=11. OK, I see. :)

thanx all... (although...I can't figure out why you guys are so exorcised over my referring to XI as 11...??? it's just that...in the thread title...I wanted it to be uniform w/ the number 7...that's all)...(was not insulting the app or it's users...in fact...I already love it...many, many improvements in work flow I have discovered over the past two days) case-in-point...whoever made the comment on the multi-dock is absolutely correct...!!! I now dock my plug-in's there...real convenient...& I dock the browser there as well...which gave me a little more room on the right. anyway, new set of questions: A) How can I get the track view to move to the right automatically, as the needle (now time indicator) rolls off the existing clips to the right & out of sight? i.e., follow the needle...??? B) Where are the CLIP automation envelopes now...??? C) Double-clicking on any file (project, audio, etc.) outside SONAR XI (in windows explorer)...& selecting SONAR XI as the program to open that file...brings up the serial # registration dialog again (which I already completed & put to bed once)...& certain plug-in's can also not be found. anyone have an idea on this...??? thanx again, mark4man

You either have the scroll lock key active or if it's persistent from session to session you need to uncheck, "Left click locks scroll" found in the Track View Menu--->Options-->Click Behaviour B) Where are the CLIP automation envelopes now...??? You select them by using the "Edit Filter" found in each tracks header pane (Widget settings permitting) or in the tool HUD accessed by pressing T or clicking middle mouse button. Another one of my videos shows how to use the edit filter & envelopes may be helpful to get your head around the new set up. Not sure about the registration issue. Are you running Sonar as an administrator? For the plugins run a VST scan (which is best set to run at start up) but make sure you have "Re-scan failed plugins" checked in the plugin manager options. thanx again, You're welcome..........
