SONAR 8 Reinstall

My computer crashed and I want to reload SONAR 8 onto another PC. I registered the product. Will it end after 30 days or can I continue to use it until I am able to upgrade to the latest product?
Thanks!

Unless the registration and serial numbers are entered into the product, it will run in demo mode, expiring in 30 days.

Thanks for the reply. It appears that it should work beyond 30 days.

Of course , if it's your legitimate copy then it came with the serial and the registration number, You can install it as many times as you wish and in more than one computer at a time. As long as you are only using one computer at any given time etc. I have re installed at least a dozen times now and in 3 computers. One, this office computer, I don't even use for recording but I open it when helping on the forum. You don't have to even be on the internet. It was a PITA when I installed Wave Lab and had to drag my whole DAW computer downstairs and install the EThernet drivers just to activate the stupid software. One of Sonars better features is they make it real easy to own multiple workstations and not require the net. STienburg has a dongle which is a pain to activate.

My little voice is telling me it may not.
Did you attempt to register and get a message that Sonar is already registered?
If you click Help, is the Register Sonar option still available?
If so, you're not quite there. Yes, you have a valid license, but it is not yet recognized on the new machine.
You must enter the registration code provided by Cakewalk when you initially registered Sonar.
If you don't have it handy, you can get it from your account page at the Cakewalk Store.
Once you do that, you will get an onscreen confirmation, and you are good to go.

ps. Don't forget to do the 8.3 update.
