SONAR 8.5.3 vs SONAR X1 Export Times Using PLAY Sample Libraries

Hi everyone!

It's been a while, but I have a question for those of you who have Sonar 8.5.3 and Sonar X1 64 bit installed on the same machine AND who use EWQL sample libraries. Basically, I would like to know how long it takes you to export an identical project containing PLAY libraries on each of the Sonar versions mentioned above. Just make sure that the project you use to test this is 100% compatible with both versions of Sonar (8.5.3 and X1), preferably if it's the 64 bit version (but 32 bit should be fine too). For some reason I'm experiencing significantly higher export times in Sonar X1 compared to Sonar 8.5.3, and with your help, I would like to confirm my findings. Hopefully one of you will be able to help me here.

Thanks so much for your time!

I suspect not many will be in a position to help much on this.  I use EWQL libraries and PLAY but only have X1E installed now.  It definitely does seem to handle EWQL (including loading samples from the library etc) faster, in the same projects, than 8.5.3 did but that's not a testable assessment, just an impression.   As for exporting, I'm not sure what you mean as the only exporting I've done is of stereo mixdowns of EWQL-based projects, to .wav files.

That's what I mean, exporting stereo mixdowns of wave files. In my tests, SONAR X1 takes way longer than SONAR 8.5.3. They both seem to handle PLAY about the same otherwise. Not sure what's going on though.
