New Question: does anyone know where the color presets for Sonar 8.5.1 reside? In 8.5.1 I only have 3 color palate choices. In 8.3.1 I have about 25 color palates. Anyone know what file or files include the color palates for Sonar?

Can you please also redo the links to Sonar 8 Rounded Faders (32 Bit) ? Thanks. While you're at it, why don't you do the lot, as the Goobase link doesn't work either (404 ... nice cat though).

Hey Polaczek/SONARtist, I've just checked those links, working fine here. Must have been something server-side (weird you saw the proper 404 page though) @ HBB: I like that more button-like style you gave the effects in the effects bin. Getting around those white focus outlines (anywhere in the UI) is a tough one, eh? Man I hate those! I didn't get time to finish work on the MSR area as I work freelance well into the evenings. I'll try and update when I can.

Hey Sonartist, you will notice that at the bottom of Buddy's webpage there is a Donate with Paypal link. You do NOT have to have a Paypal account to donate. You can just use any credit card through their interface. On the left side of the Paypal page that it takes you to, there is an image of the different credit cards and a link next to that that says "continue". This link will let you pay by CC instead of PP. HTH (both you and Buddy)

Anyone know what file or files include the color palates for Sonar? i had the exact problem. strange knowone else has mentioned this. anyway, my fix was exporting all the color presets from the demo version of 8.0 and then importing into 8.5. Yes, the 8.0 demo has them all. I also downloaded a bunch off the site mentioned at the beginning of this thread. I am using one of those tweaked a little.

D K Buddy - Thanks so much for these!! I am probably doing this wrong - I've got the rounded faders - Looks Great! But for some reason I cant get the meters to work - 8.5.1 Is there something I am missing? - Installed in the correct directory - same as the fader EDIT: MY BAD!!!!! - All is working fine - I'm such a dumb*** sometimes I guess I'm still a dumb***. I'm trying to set this up for a buddy who has 8.5.1 and can't get it to work. Can you break it down for us? BTW - I'm a Logic 9 user looking for a DAW with better audio functionality. My Christmas gift will be either SONAR 8.5 or Cubase 5. Only two things had me a little hesitant regarding SONAR - graphics and workflow customization. This thread has me scratching a line through graphics. EDIT - Got it working. At least I feel less like a moron now. Jeezzzz.... Cheers, Jay
