SONAR Platinum and Video Workflow Question

Once I am done scoring to video and my tracks are bounced to audio and I am beginning mixing I really don't need the video any more. My sync is determined and I have a 2POP for the editor.

What do you guys do? Keep the video, close it, delete it, or what during mixing? I am thinking of deleting it to free up CPU load (although it works fine if I keep the video).

All thoughts appreciated.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Hi. I have only done this a couple of times, but found that I liked having the video playing. I felt it helped when mixing, as I had a reference to where I needed that little extra to make a scene pop.
Others may know better
All the best.

I'm Like Ken...I need to have picture up and running.  I believe you can right click on the picture file and click "un-animate" .  That might be safer in the long run.

Hi Jimbo,
I did not think of the "unanimate" idea. Thanks.
It might be worth mentioning that I do not export audio and video together from SONAR - just the synced audio. If I am adding it back to video I do so in Magix Vegas Pro.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
