SONAR Plus 1.0.0.9 Update Available
SONAR Plus version 1.0.0.9 is available for download. Here's what's new: - Added 'Show/Hide Track Pane', 'Show/Hide Controller Pane', and 'Show/Hide Drum Pane' buttons to PRV menu.
- Added 'Show/Hide Track Pane' and 'Show/Hide Fret Pane' buttons to the Staff View menu
- Added 'Auto-Punch Toggle' and 'Set Punch Points to Selection' buttons to the main toolbar.
- Added 'Import Audio' and 'Import MIDI' buttons to main toolbar.
- Fixed bug that made it impossible to change the PRV snap setting via the Control Bar if the PRV was floating.
- Improvements to Full Screen Mode to help prevent minor SONAR redraw problem after switching Full Screen Mode on/off.
You can download it here: http://www.sonarplus.co.uk/pages/downloads.aspx A couple of people reported problems with the separate snap setting feature, and also a problem with SONAR not responding after switching Full Screen Mode off. I've made one or two tweaks to try and prevent this from happening, but I would like to know if anyone has either of these problems. Thanks, Ben

I am finally getting around to checking out Sonar Plus...and digging it... but is there a way to float the toolbar onto another monitor?

Have you tried simply dragging it over to the other monitor? Edit; It just occurred to me you may not know about the handle on the left side of the toolbar. You use this to drag it anywhere and it will stay where it is placed.

But when i pick follow snap settings as soon as i click anywhere in the TV the PRV Grid changes to whole and when i click back in PRV it changes back to 1/16 is there a way to make it no do that. i want the PRV to just stay at 1/16 and my TV to just stay at whole. This happened after X1b patch

Hey gt. Did you get my email (or was it a PM?) I sent you last week? I couldn't reproduce your problem, even after a lot of testing. Are you using screensets? Are you running Plus with the same permissions as SONAR? Are you changing the snap settings via the Control Bar dropdown or via keybindings? Could I have a report please? Did you go through the test steps I sent you, and if so, did it work? So many questions! If you have the time, some answers might help me figure out why it's not working for you. Thanks, Ben

Benstat, is there a way to get Sonar Plus bar a little bigger? I find myself squinting to look for the correct icon.. esp on 2 x 23" screens. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. Thanks for the brilliant app - Batch Freeze is the new cool!

I keep being told I'm spam when I try to register at your forum . I've been called a lot of things in my day hahaha. Just one quick question. When I download this, do I launch it from the desktop, or do I need to move it into the cakewalk program file (like other mods). Just want to make sure I don't screw something up. Thanks, Spam... uh, I mean, Rob

Thanks, Spam... uh, I mean, Rob The main place for SONAR Plus update information (and the downloads themselves of course) is: http://www.sonarplus.co.uk/ As Beagle mentioned, there is also a forum for support, feedback, suggestions etc: http://www.sonarmods.com/forum Not sure why you keep getting blocked as spam! I'll have a word with Panu (he is hosting the forum for me) and see if he has any suggestions. You can put the SONAR Plus download anywhere you like (desktop, my documents, wherever). It's just a setup program. Run it and it will install SONAR Plus into the following folder by default: c:\Program Files\Benstat\SONAR Plus Once it's installed, you can delete the download file unless you want to keep hold of it for some reason. If you ever choose to uninstall SONAR Plus, just do it via the Control Panel ('Programs and Features' or 'Add/Remove Programs') like any other program.
