SONAR Support for Bluetooth Audio Devices

Hello Bakers and Makers,
I've inquired about using a bluetooth speaker as a SONAR (Platinum) playback device for laptops before and only a few members chimed in. Although I appreciate the feedback I did get, I still am trying to make this work.  On page 73 of the SONAR User Guide, the 2000 plus page one, it clearly states that SONAR is now compatible with Bluetooth audio devices. It goes on to describe some aud.ini changes that need to be made, depending on which operating system is being used.

After reading all about the subject I tried every variable noted in the guide with no success. I'm running a new Asus laptop with Windows 10, the latest i7 processor and 16 gigs of ram, so the machine should have no problem dealing with any 'normal' situation. But anytime I try the various settings to make WASAPI happy the audio engine invariably refuses to run.

Since I got little help before, I assume that few of us are interested in using Bluetooth because of latency, compression, etc. Well, I want to use bluetooth when I'm on the couch in the living room or anywhere I may be when an idea pops up and I need a quick system that's ready on a moment's notice, not only while I'm working in the studio where everything is wired. Also, it's always good to hear mixes thru various playback systems, even Bluetooth speakers and headphones.

Hopefully, someone in the group has been successful with laptops and Bluetooth speakers. Any advice from someone who understands the protocol will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
