Something about that synth patch - always sounds good no matter how many times you hear it ! I listened to this yesterday, but didn't have time to comment. Listening again now and to be honest I preferred it without the "clint eastwood" guitars. Like the composition and I've said it before and I'll say it again - one day I'm gonna get me some of that Danziman action. Very cool.

That spaghetti western guitar was achieved with The Roland Groove Synth + Guitar Rig Demo. It was very controversial as our team thought people might think that it was Dany Danzi and cause confusion. It did.

You have a team? LOL! So I'm listening and waiting to hear Danny. I thought he was the spaghetti guitar, which I like. There he is! Yeah, very cool. My only crit would be that it is kinda repetitive. No matter, it really sounds good and Danny is throwin' some fine licks there. Nice job Shawn!

I presume the one thats up now is the wild west mix.
This song kicks ass, it makes me wanna run up the side of a mountain.

Both variations sound good. They would go well as soundtrack music for an action flick. Danny Love the Guitar on the version you posted.

Thanks so much Tom. Originally, I believe Shawn was going to try and pitch it to the Bakers as a tune that plays in the background while Sonar installs. Not sure what came of that though. At any rate, I had a good time working with him. I just really liked the other version because I felt it showed a little more of everything in a balanced situation and sort of broke some of the monotony. :)

Chuck, I owned an access-music VIRUS TI for awhile and I loved it...it is my favorite peice of outboard gear of all time (lots of buttons, lights, knobs & sounds) but I pawned it for some cash and went the way of the mighty VST's and the only outboard gear I use now is a little akai lpk25 which I made this song with and SONAR + laptop. I made that video for a contest that access-music had for promoting the VIRUS...I did not win. :(
BUT! I have been blessed to work with Dany Danzi which if I think about it the man and his guitar are probably the greatest piece of outboard gear I ever worked with! :)

This song is a song about "Winning any Battle, even before it starts..." it's supposed to pump you up for any challenge and bring fear into the enemy's musical frontline. In history I believe the marching band served this purpose, now it's SONAR & friends. This song makes me feel so strong, intelligent, creative and blessed every time I listen to it & it was the creative forums of CakeWalk, ROLAND & SONAR which made it happen. I will end up using this in my Volume II of my music library & STILL HAVE HOPES that perhaps when you install SONAR X2 you will hear this song in the background to INSPIRE you to create, have dreams, be creative & move forward as it does me. I, being Me, am stuck on the Wild West Mix but it is undeniable what Danny's guitar did to the song. The guitar solo almost always brings chills to my spine & it was the guitar tracks that brought this song alive. The VST part was in the early stages when Danny made his mix and I worked for another couple of weeks for about 4 hours a day finalizing my parts for the Wild West Mix. If I still had the project a mix between both versions would be the ultimate. Again, thank you all for the compliments & suggestions when this song was a work in progress. I highly recommend working with Mr. Danzi on any project.
