SONAR Tip: Full Screen Screenset

SONAR Tip: Full Screen Screenset

An additional option that affects the entire SONAR application window (and is saved in screensets) is Full Screen mode. What this option does is resize the SONAR window to fill the current screen and also remove the title bar to provide a small amount of additional vertical workspace. To toggle the option, choose Window > Full Screen (or press F11). One of my favorite screenset configurations is having the Track view showing and nothing else. To achieve this, I press C, B, D, I to hide the Control Bar, Browser, MultiDock, and Inspector. The I press F11 to activate Full Screen mode and save the screenset. For more information on screensets and other SONAR configuration options, see chapter 2 in SONAR X2 Power! http://www.garrigus.com/

Have you considered consolidating these tips into a 'Garrigus's Tip Of The Day' thread and getting it stickied?  Keep making the normal forum posts as usual so people can reply then have the stickied thread for the tips alone :-)

Scott, I think the full screen mode can't be saved in screensets in X2a. Someone mentioned it was only possible in the original X2.

That would be up to Cakewalk. But I'd rather people just buy the book since all these tips are in there.

Hmmm... oh well... hopefully they'll fix it in the next version.

Yeah, every bit of screen space helps.
