You have to set up your sound card in X1 via Preferences>Audio where you will find access to Devices, Driver Settings, and Record and Playback.  Set up Sonar to recognize your sound card there.  Then, set up individual tracks to the outputs of your sound card either in track view or console view.  If that fails, there are several tutorials related to this online or on your install disk.  And, there's always the help function.

All the best,
Lynn

If you have your i/o box set up properly and followed the tutorials to the letter you should be getting a signal. If not, read the manual for your i/o (it probably has a specific driver setting you need to use in Sonar) and check their website for the latest drivers applicable to your system (ie: Win XP vs Win7, 32 bit vs. 64 bit, etc...). Then follow the tutorials again. If that doesn't work we'd need more details on your card, computer, etc... Or you could send Cakewalk and an email/give them a call. They're pretty good for this type of stuff. Good luck.
