SONAR X1 Console Strips (MIDI+Instrument show/hide)

I don't quite understand how the console strips work in SONAR X1... because when I deselect just the "MIDI" in the strips menu in console view, both MIDI and Instrument tracks disappear! Same result if I deselect "Instrument" only. Is that really how it works??? It's useless!

Just to make sure we're on the same terminology page here............

An instrument track is an audio track assigned to the output of a synth..... They should be visible in the CV when deselecting "MIDI" in the strips menu.

A Simple Instrument Track(SIT) is the combined MIDI and instrument track in one. They won't be visible in the CV with "MIDI" deselected. Probably because they are more MIDI based than audio.

If you want to see those but not the MIDI tracks, why not hide the MIDI tracks using the Track View Manager?

If you want to switch them in and out quickly set up a screenset, one with them visible one without. I use screensets to control what is visible in my CV all the time. Once set up there's no need to touch any of the menus, just press a number key.

    Screensets.... I love 'em.
