SONAR X1 Produces no sound

These are the steps I take;

Power up the audio interface ( M-Audio ProFire 610 )
Power up the JDV mK3
Power up the Focal CM 50 monitors
Power up the PC ( Windows 7 SP2 )
Start Cakewalk SONAR X1
Load the Audio tutorial
Make sure the output is ProFire 1/2
Play

Sometimes I get sound and sometimes I don’t.

Has anyone had this experience?

    I think I would power up the audio interface after powering up the computer.

    I always power up my FS2626 at the same time as booting W7, simply because I hadthis sort of issue once and Presonus recommended doing so.that, touch wood, seems to have cured the rare occurences whenthis happened.

    I would make sure the audio drivers are up to date and/or that there are no known issues with whatever version you're running. Also try switching on the JDV after boot up. The monitors are not an issue.

    Cheers,
    Jerry
