SONAR X1 not recording my midi

Hello, Any idea what could cause such problem please? I used to be able to record my midi keyboard but now Sonar has stopped working. Everything is plugged fine, when I press on the keyboard the meter moves, the sound comes out, no problem with that but the recording does not work, no notes are being recorded. Any idea why please? Thank you, Ben

    I hope you are not insulted if I ask but....is the track armed for recording? Just seemed like the most obvious reason a track would not record.

      Have you updated any drivers in the recent past-since it ceased recording? More often than not its the source of hardware-software connectivity prms. Either that or if you are like me-have golden retrievers who knock cables out of stuff---check the connections, Its often the dumb stuff that makes you crazy with new software

    The best assessor of the sound you create is still your two ears and what lies between them-brains. And a PC that renders music @light speed.......
