SONAR X1a - DIDN'T WE MAKE THE PURCHASE TO MAKE MUSIC
There has been so much dialogue about SONAR X1a we all have heard and/or shared the good, bad and ugly. I figured I would just use it for what I got it for "make music; make money" Looking for some professional feedback... http://snd.sc/eKqDBY

I like how you produced that...sounds really good here as well. What FX did you end up using?

trimph1 I like how you produced that...sounds really good here as well. What FX did you end up using? Besides using a (1) one wave vst "the L1" all the other effects I used were Cakewalk effects to include the VS-64 (I think thats right). All onboard effects via Cakewalk/Sonar - I like the L1 for vocal compression/limiting,,, Pro - Channel in my very humble professional (some people would challenge the professional) opinion makes a difference. Just going to learn how to maximize whats in X1a; just like I have or attempted to do with all the previous versions of SONAR...

Great track. Good job. You need some more Al Greene like guitar on that track, playing some horn lines, or better yet, horns.

Yes, we did. I've finished 4 brand new songs on X1, one of which I posted in the songs forum. That same song was made into a video which I posted on my YouTube site. Your song sounds very professional, indeed, and I'm sure if you posted it in the song forum that you would find much confirmation. I personally don't mind people proselytizing, but others might. Best of luck to you.
