SONAR X2a and UAD-2

Anyone out there using SONAR X2a 64-bit and UAD-2 System in Windows 8 Pro 64-bit? I'd like to know if such a setup is possible and, if it is, how well it works.

It is possible and it works very well. I actually just got an Apollo to add to my two existing UAD-2 Quads.

Sonar Platinum X64 - Win 10 x64 - Intel SB-E 3930 - Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 - 16GB DDR3 - AMD R290X - 4x 1TB SSD RAID 0 (Sys and Data partitions) - 2x UAD2 Quad - 1x UAD2 Octo - UAD Apollo Dual

It's working for me also. Windows 8 pro, Sonar X2a and a UAD2 Solo.

Thank you for the reply, djtrailmixxx. The reason I asked is because I was told by UA that Windows 8 and Sonar X2 are not supported in relation to UAD-2. I intended to go for a UAD-2 Quad. I am also using a RME (Fireface UFX) interface.

Works just fine for me. No problems, no issues. This config in service for ~ 6 months.

Yes,

WIN8 PRO, X2 x64, UAD2 Quad and Apollo Duo with TB all working on my PC and behaving greatly. I even got one of those multi touch screens for the console view and mixing.....  all is working tremendously.... and yes, when UAD said it doesn't support a configuration it just means that they will not offer any phone or mail support not that is doesn't necesarily work.

Good luck with your set up.
